The Busted String Band is a country & western band from Kirksville, Missouri.  

Formed in 2011, the group has played their brand of music in formal concert halls and livestock arenas, punk clubs and rodeo dances, hippie communes, laundromats, and honky-tonks. For a decade their original tunes, mixed with the timeless standards of the genre, have kept people dancing, coming back for more and inviting them to share stages with an eclectic array of ensembles including Jason Boland & the Stragglers, Iron & Wine, The Defibulators, Kevin Fowler, and many more.
